Schwan's Delivery Driver/Other Neighborhood Deliveries

During Dave's first interview at the ISP Sellersburg post he told the detectives that a Schwan's delivery man had made a stop at the house shortly before Dave left for the basketball games and that he bought, among other things, jalapeno poppers which Kim enjoyed.

The ISP subsequently determined the identity of the driver and roused him from bed early the next morning (before 5:00AM) and conducted an interview. He confirmed that Dave had been dressed for basketball and he also told them of the route he had taken after leaving the Camm residence. The timing of his story was confirmed through a Schwan's computerized record of his sale to Dave. Those same records also confirmed the purchase by Dave of the items he described.

No other delivery drivers or services were interviewed by the ISP to determine if they might have seen anything on or near Lockhart Road which would have caught their attention. No employees of Fed Ex, UPS or the U.S. Postal Service were interviewed, or if they were, there were no reports or records provided by the prosecution to the defense.
